Veil and Form

The Fall Descent

An evening of sound, soup and warmth beneath the falling light.

Saturday, November 9th
4.30–9.00 PM Highland Park
6408 Crescent Street, LA 90042

As the year softens into dusk, we gather in the space between light and dark.
This season’s Veil & Form gets a little cozier and explores Autumn, the art of release, the descent, and the return to what remains.

Rooted in the myth of Inanna’s descent, this evening will weave ritual, sound, and story to help us explore the beauty of letting go and finding stillness.

A guided soundbath and somatic meditation that invites you into deep rest, exploring themes of surrender and self-return.

Afterward, we’ll gather for a salon-style circle. A time to share reflections, words, or silence, followed by soup, bread, and firelight under the night sky.

Please RSVP through this link as space is limited. → RSVP

Suggested Donation: $35
Includes tea, soundbath, reflection circle, and shared meal by the fire.

The suggested donation helps support the gathering, but if it’s not possible for you right now, please still come. All are welcome :)

What to Wear

While past gatherings invited a sense of adornment, this one asks for comfort. Clothes that let you rest easily on the floor or by the fire. Come as you are… soft fabrics, cozy layers, and whatever helps your body feel grounded. Think sweaters, socks, and warmth over formality.

What to Bring

Something warm to wrap around you, and a small item for the altar.. a symbol of what you’re releasing, or what you wish to keep illuminated through the dark.

Reflections for the Descent…

Where in my life am I being called to descend? To slow down, to let go, to listen more deeply?I

In what ways can I honor rest and decay as sacred parts of creation?

What does “returning to myself” feel like in this season of change?

What beauty exists in the spaces I’ve emptied?

Veil & Form

is a seasonal ritual salon. A living exploration of the thresholds that shape us.
Each gathering moves with the rhythm of the year, weaving sound, story, and shared reflection to honor the cycles of the earth and our lives.

These evenings are an invitation to slow down, to witness the subtle beauty of transition, and to find yourself mirrored in the season’s unfolding.

I’m so looking forward to sharing space with you. To rest, reflect, and honor this turning together.

Love you always,

Anika
